Acúleos
Acúleos é um desdobramento da série Roseiras, que investigam as relações entre natureza e construção humana. Partindo dos acúleos, estruturas de defesa presentes em determinadas espécies vegetais, como as roseiras, a série propõe aproximações entre formas orgânicas e elementos industriais, criando territórios de tensão entre o natural e o artificial.
Nas obras, dialogam com o arame farpado, estabelecendo uma fusão simbólica em que mecanismos naturais de proteção encontram suas correspondências nas estruturas criadas pelo homem. Dessa aproximação surgem formas híbridas que transitam entre delicadeza e contenção, atração e afastamento, vulnerabilidade e defesa.
Entre pintura e escultura, a série reflete sobre os sistemas de autoproteção que atravessam as relações humanas. Cercas, limites e barreiras tornam-se metáforas para os mecanismos físicos e simbólicos que construímos para habitar o mundo. A natureza não é apenas referência formal, mas um campo de reflexão sobre os modos como protegemos, delimitamos e, por vezes, restringimos nossas próprias experiências.

Acúleos
Acúleos is an unfolding of the Roseiras series, which investigates the relationships between nature and human construction. Starting from aculei, defensive structures present in certain plant species, such as rose bushes, the series proposes connections between organic forms and industrial elements, creating territories of tension between the natural and the artificial.
In the works, aculei engage in dialogue with barbed wire, establishing a symbolic fusion in which natural mechanisms of protection find their counterparts in structures created by humans. From this proximity emerge hybrid forms that move between delicacy and restraint, attraction and distance, vulnerability and defense.
Between painting and sculpture, the series reflects on the systems of self-protection that permeate human relationships. Fences, limits, and barriers become metaphors for the physical and symbolic mechanisms we construct in order to inhabit the world. Nature is not merely a formal reference, but a field of reflection on the ways we protect, delimit, and, at times, restrict our own experiences.
