Como pensar nas camadas? Camadas de tintas de memórias ausentes, dentro e fora. Por medidas cabíveis do corpo, medidas impostas, expostas que ocupam a memória no espaço. Podemos falar sobre camadas, camadas de emoções ou melhor, camadas de sentimentos construídas nas relações. Camadas de tintas desgastadas e ruídas em paredes, imperfeitas, recobertas, com cores frias quase cinzas, porém azuis, guardando memórias das pessoas que habitaram esse espaço. Tudo que possa ser ocupado, quer hora por nós ou hora pela nossa imaginação que anda em paralelo com a memória. Podemos falar sobre a intensidade da cor, da origem do azul mar, azul céu, do espaço que formam novos tons, pois no fim somos todos
corpos, todos iguais nascidos das relações emocionais. Relações construídas em camadas desgastadas, recobertas e expostas ao sol. Visíveis como uma paisagem ou fachada. Essas pinturas revelam a ocupação estática dessas peles que se desdobram em barreiras e só se mostram pela imperfeição da forma.

How can we think about layers? Layers of paint, of absent memories, within and without. Layers measured by the body's dimensions—dimensions imposed, exposed, occupying memory in space. We may speak of layers: layers of emotion, or rather, layers of feelings constructed through relationships.
Layers of worn and eroded paint on walls, imperfect, covered over, in cool colors almost gray, yet blue, preserving the memories of those who once inhabited that space. Everything that can be occupied, whether at times by us or by our imagination, which moves in parallel with memory.
We may speak of the intensity of color, of the origin of sea blue and sky blue, of the spaces that give rise to new tones, for in the end we are all bodies, all alike, born from emotional relationships. Relationships built in worn layers, covered over and exposed to the sun. Visible like a landscape or a façade.
These paintings reveal the static occupation of these skins, unfolding into barriers that reveal themselves only through the imperfection of form.
